Dar Ul-Isra is a welcoming mosque in the heart of Cardiff, serving the local Muslim community and beyond since its establishment. We provide a calm and dignified space for daily prayers, Jumu’ah, and community gatherings.

To provide a spiritual sanctuary for worship, education, and community support. We aim to serve all members of the community regardless of background, fostering understanding, learning, and unity through the teachings of Islam.

To be a beacon of faith, knowledge, and compassion in Cardiff. We envision a thriving community where individuals of all ages can grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially in an environment of mutual respect.

Regular Educational Circles

  • Adult Arabic Learning — Weekly classes to master the language of the Qur’an.
  • Study Circles (Halaqas) — Tafsir, English Halaqas, and Arabic Fiqh circles.
  • Qur’an Memorization — Memorise & Rise structured programme.

Youth & Family Programs

  • Scouts & Explorers — Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and DofE leadership.
  • Youth Halaqas — Age-specific circles for ages 7–10, 11–14, and 15–18.
  • Health & Recreation — Wrestling classes, Pilates and Yoga for ladies.

Community Outreach & Support

  • Interfaith & Public Tours — Mosque tours and school visits for the wider community.
  • Sisters’ Socials — Coffee mornings and gatherings for women.

Major Annual & Seasonal Events

  • Sharing Ramadan — Community Iftars open to all.
  • Eid Celebrations — Family Eid parties for Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha.
  • Community Markets — Book days and cake sales after Jumu’ah.

Facilities for Community Use

Our spaces — including the Main Hall, Activity Hall, and Seminar Rooms — are available for hire and community use for Nikkah (Marriage) Services, Aqeeqah (Newborn) Celebrations, Educational Workshops, and community meetings.
